Why Not You Foundation

Founded in 2014 by Russell Wilson and Ciara, the Why Not You Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to fighting poverty through education and empowering youth to lead with a "why not you" attitude.

Service and community are at the heart of 3BRAND, which proudly donates 3% of all sales to the Why Not You Foundation. When you choose 3BRAND, you're not just wearing high-performance athleisure – you're joining a movement dedicated to personal growth, excellence, and positive change.

The foundation's mission stems from Russell's father's challenge to approach life with a "why not you" philosophy – a mindset that Russell and Ciara are committed to sharing with the next generation. Through the Why Not You Foundation, they aim to equip today's youth with the skills, opportunities, and self-belief needed to become tomorrow's leaders.

The foundation supports student access to equal education opportunities, children's health initiatives, and food security programs. Ciara's leadership also ensures the foundation empowers girls and young women locally, nationally, and globally, providing them with the tools and resources to grow in a healthy and positive way.

In addition to financially supporting aligned organizations, Russell personally extends the foundation's impact. He advocates for pediatric cancer, makes visits to children's hospitals across the U.S., and partners with groups like the V Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Friends of the Children. Russell and Ciara both serve on the V Foundation’s national board.
